The mode of education in this institute for graduate degrees and postgraduate degrees is offline since these programs are full-time residential. The faculty consists of more than 59 academicians who are highly qualified experts. The students get to meet industry experts through the institute’s connections with its industry partners which help in integrating practical knowledge based on industry insight with classroom teaching. Across many of the programs, 1200 students are learning and growing their academic prowess, getting prepared to face the dynamic industry challenges.
IIM Mumbai has also been accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), an accreditation body that credits institutions providing management education at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The programs offered by IIM Mumbai are MBAs, PGDEx-VLFM (Postgraduate Diploma for Executives-Visionary Leaders For Manufacturing), Ph.D., General Management Programme for the Defence officers(DGMP), online MDPs (Management Development Programmes) and several certificate courses meant to specialize in a particular field. The institute has partnered up with many companies that provide placements for the students such as 3M, Abbott, AB InBev, Cipla, John Deere, Aditya Birla Group, EY, etc.
