Jagan Nath University was established on April 16, 2008, by an Act of the Rajasthan State Legislature (Act No. 19 of 2008). The university is located in Jaipur and is approved under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. It is also NAAC (2nd Cycle) with an "A" grade in 2022. Jagannath University is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). As a reflection of the university’s reputation in quality education, it has been specifically accredited by ICAR for 5 years of its B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program. Jagan Nath University, Jaipur, offers various UG and PG courses in multiple disciplines, including Engineering & Technology, Management, Education, Law, Architecture, Agriculture Science, Paramedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and Vocational Studies.
