Jagan Nath University was established on April 16, 2008, by an Act of the Rajasthan State Legislature (Act No. 19 of 2008). The university is located in Jaipur and is approved under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. It is also NAAC (2nd Cycle) with an "A" grade in 2022.
