Central Sanskrit University (CSU) was formerly known as Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, which assisted the Ministry of Human Resource Development in planning and implementing different schemes for the betterment of Sanskrit studies. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and also holds the NAAC with an A++ grade. CSU offers around 118 programs via its 12 campuses in the offline mode. It has also started with online courses through its Institute of Open and Distance Education, known as “Mukta Swadhyaya Peetham.” Through this institute, the university promotes Sanskrit & Shastric learning through online and distance learning.
The online programs offered at CSU include Certificate Programs, Advanced Certificate Programs, Diplomas, PG Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Bachelor's Degree programs, and Master's Degree programs. All of these programs can be opted from anywhere and at any age without appearing for any entrance exam.
