Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has also secured places in the National International Ranking Framework (NIRF) and QS rankings. In NIRF 2021, the university ranked 79th among the Universities category, the University's School of Management Studies ranked 51st among management institutions, the University’s School of Law & Legal Studies ranked 12th among law institutions, and the University’s Engineering School ranked 108th among engineering institutions. In the QS World University Rankings 2025, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has ranked #1001-1200. It has a ranking of #951-960 in the QS Sustainability Ranking, #=81 in the Asian University Rankings - Southern Asia, and #=320 in the Asian University Rankings.
GGSIPU has 13 Schools of Studies that offer on-campus programs. The university is doing great even at the affiliation upfront; it has 111 affiliated institutes, out of which 87 are self-financed, and 24 are owned and managed by the Government of NCT of Delhi/Government of India. From these affiliated institutions, 176 academic programs are being offered with an enrollment of over 28,000 students that makes the total University strength of more than 93,000 students.
