On January 8th, 1884 university was reponed as Manual Training School. In 1886, the school began to admissions of female students. From 1914 universities began to move from secondary school education to institutions to provide bachelor’s education. By 1920, the university has renamed itself as Toledo University. Surviving WWII till now UTelodo has seen many challenges, changes in authority, mergers, etc. Currently, Utelodo is one of the few universities offering degrees in engineering, medicine, law, business, pharmacy, nursing, and education. Moreover, there are options for online programs as well at the university.
The University of Toledo is accredited by the HLC (Higher Learning Commission) and AACSB and is known for providing the best quality and affordable education. The University is also ranked among the best colleges in the United States by U.S. News & World Report and recognized as a Top Performer on Social Mobility.
