The University of Jammu is a well-known and reputed university among the institutions that offer education through online mode. The University of Jammu Online Education established the Directorate of Distance and Online Education to offer education to every student around the world who are willing to pursue further studies but are not able to enroll themselves in a regular degree. The University of Jammu is accredited with an “A++” grade by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council of India, which came into existence in 1969 via the Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act 1969. The University of Jammu was also established in 1969 and situated on Baba Saheb Ambedkar Road, Jammu Tawi (J&K)-180006 (INDIA). Recently the Ministry of Human Resource Development conducted a National Institutional Ranking Framework under which the University of Jammu was awarded 51st rank and it is also recognized as a category-1 university, meanwhile, the University of Jammu is approved by University Grants Commission.
