The Indian Institute of Technology is the finest technical institute in India and in the Union Budget of 2014-15, the Honourable Finance Minister of India announced the establishment of IIT Jammu followed by a list of four more IITs i.e. Kerala, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. IIT Jammu is an autonomous institute that is situated in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India, and was established on 6th August 2016.
