Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan (SKIT) is the most famous and privately owned engineering school that was founded in the year 2000 in Jaipur under Technocrats Welfare Society and it has grown to be one of the best technical institution in North India. It is an institution of the RTU, Kota and all its courses are accredited by the AICTE, New Delhi and graded NAAC A++. SKIT is also offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate studies in other areas like Engineering and Technology, Management, Computer Applications and Science. More than understanding the changing demands of working professionals, distance learners, SKIT has also stepped into the world of online learning, where it offers UGC-approved online degree courses that offer the same quality of education with the convenience of distance learning. SKIT is located on a 60-acre campus in Jaipur and has a world-class infrastructure with state-of-the-art laboratories, smart classrooms containing ICT facilities, a library, modern workshop facilities and dedicated research centres. The institute focuses on all-inclusive development with the ideal combination of academic excellence, practical exposure and co-curricular activities. To this end, the institute provides a strict academic curriculum in subjects like Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Information Technology at the undergraduate level (B.Tech). At the postgraduate level, M.Tech is offered in fields of specialization, MBA and MCA are offered. The curriculum is also constantly modularised to fit the industry needs and the new technological trends, and the students are well-equipped to cope with the modern challenges. The online education programme of SKIT provides quality technical and management education to the learners who are unable to take up the customary on-campus programs because of workload, geographical factors, or personal reasons. The online courses have interactive learning modules, online labs, live online classes, recorded lectures, and detailed study resources. Students in the online programs are given the same degree as those in the on-campus programs, giving them equal credits in terms of recognition and career employment. The online learning platform has the Learning Management Systems (LMS) that create a smooth interaction between the faculty and the students, online exams, doubt-clearing sessions, and group learning.
