MSCB University Online MSCB University (Courses, Admission, Fees 2026)

MSCB University is the Odisha state university at Baripada, earlier called North Orissa University. Its Centre for Distance and Online Education lists five postgraduate MSCB University online courses for 2026-27: M.A. in Economics, English, Odia and Sanskrit, and Master of Social Work.

Apply on the official admission portal. Create your UGC-DEB Unique ID and ABC ID, read the prospectus for eligibility, fill in the form, upload documents and pay the application fee where needed. Your documents are then verified and confirmed on the portal.

The university was founded in 1998 and began operating in 1999 at Takatpur, Baripada, Odisha. It was previously known as North Orissa University, and its full name today is Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University.

Each programme is 2 years long, and learners are allowed up to 4 years in total to complete it. The eligibility listed is a graduation or equivalent degree.

UGC guidance allows intakes twice a year, in July or August and January or February. You need a UGC-DEB Unique ID and an ABC ID, created with Aadhaar, email and phone number, before you can complete the admission form.
