Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University is one of the most prominent universities established in 1992 and it is situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The MPBOU was enacted under the Madhya Pradesh University Act 1991. The university is among the reputed universities and the inauguration of the institution was done by President Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma on October 19, 1992. The MP Bhoj Open University’s motto is "Embrace, Engage, Enlighten, and Empower" and it is followed by the university’s commitment to offer practical-based learning with ICT-based education to every student. The emblem of the university has an inspirational verse from Raja Bhoj’s "Saraswati Kanthabharan.” the university makes sure that its students have access to all facilities and for this, the university has established 11 regional centers and 612 study centers across the state to manage it.
