Maharishi Markandeshwar University, located in Mullana, Haryana, was established in the year 1993 under the guidance of Sh. Tarsem Garg. Maharishi Markandeshwar is a deemed-to-be university of India that has received UGC approval for online education. Starting off as an institute of higher education providing graduation level education, the university has expanded massively over the years. Not only does it now provide courses across a very large domain of disciplines but also in a number of modes such as online, offline and distance modes. MM(DU) also has a dedicated centre for distance and online education, which is responsible for handling all operations of the university’s online and distance education. Hi, I am a Student at MMDU, pursuing MCA online, I took admission in January 2024, The Online programs are not Flexible, As I'm a working professional, The faculty ask to submit 18 handwritten Assignment per semester which are usually of 20 pages. The worst part is they conduct examination on a fixed time slot and that too in weekdays and in office hours. And ask you to take leaves. There are 8 exams per semester so it is impossible to take 8 leaves just within the time span of 15 days. The teachers just care about their Convenience but not for students and when ever you ask them for rescheduling of exams or conducting exams on weekends the just tell you to adjust whereas other universities provide such privilege to students to attempt the exam on their convenient time period. 1. The online course given by this university is not upto the mark. 2. LMS is not robust. 3. Course contents are ambiguous. 4. Faculties are not responsive. 5. No update on anything like, live classes, assignments, quizzes, exams. The worst decision I’ve ever made by enrolling into this MBA program!!!
