Kamala Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT) is a high-quality government-funded college of engineering situated in Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Having an extensive history of more than forty years, KNIT has achieved a lot in terms of quality technical education provision and has remained one of the top engineering institutions in the state. The vision behind the institute was to facilitate technical education in rural and semi-urban areas of Uttar Pradesh and to ensure that high-quality engineering education is available to the talents who are students of different backgrounds. KNIT is a university that is associated with Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and receives the approval of AICTE. The institute also provides undergraduate programs in the field of engineering, along with the B.Tech Lateral Entry program and other postgraduate courses.
