IIM Amritsar was established with the support of the Ministry of Education which was earlier known as the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. The institute is supported by the government of India. It is the 15th member of the IIM Family. This institution was inaugurated b
IIMAm welcomed its first batch in the year 2015-2017. It was established in the year 2015. It has a beautiful campus in Amritsar, which is a religious place of the Sikh community, the land of the Golden Temple. It runs through the Punjab Institute of Technology Building which is just 5 km from the Railway station, and 10 km away from the airport, hence commuting from the institute to other places is easy. IIM Amritsar offers postgraduate and doctoral programs in a wide range of specializations.
