Yes, students can enroll for the IIT without GATE through a sponsored quota. Moreover, students who completed graduation in engineering from IIT and scored 8.0 overall score or above are shortlisted for M.Tech but they have to be available for the personal interview for selection.
If anyone wants to register for the IIT M.Tech, they need to score a minimum of 60% or 6.0 CGPA in their graduation engineering program. After that, students have to qualify for the GATE entrance exam.
